You Can! You Will!

Hello! My name is Gerilyn Burnett and I help readers get healthy so that they can lose weight, live longer, and live FREE of disease and prescriptions at ANY age.

Have you ever suffered from overfatness, digestive problems, hypo/hyperglycemia, sleep apnea, autoimmune conditions, low energy, high stress, and/or a decreased interest in sex?

Me too. After getting off drugs and going back to college, I packed on 20-30 pounds of fat. I’d always thought digestive problems were normal. And “dieting” never seemed to work. The whole process was miserable and I just never quite experienced the results I desired. Sound familiar?

Thankfully, I love RESULTS. And I love to learn. I’ve learned that if the results don’t add up, it’s not you that is the problem, but the method (i.e. diet).

The results of my raw vegan diet just weren’t adding up to the testimonials that I read. It was a never-ending battle of “just try harder” to get healthy and lose weight.

More exercise didn’t do it either. Oh, it helped, but I was still puffy and “thick”. And when you don’t get results, you are told to “just do more” for a longer period of time (i.e. long slow cardio, like running).

What a vicious cycle of discontent! It’s self-sabotage because the system is set up so that you will NEVER be happy, you will NEVER be free of “dieting”, and you will ALWAYS depend on some nutritionist or gym, only to NEVER get your desired results.

I’ve digested countless books, articles and research papers over the past few years that fly in the face of “nutritional advice”, yet when put into practice… work… for life. And they work because they are doable and easily translated into a lifestyle. They are also delicious!

I learned that most agricultural grains not only completely DESTROY the environment, turning it into a desert (literally), but are POISONOUS to our bodies. Sugar also DESTROYS our bodies from the inside out, especially fructose. The instant pleasure of the moment is not worth the medical bills and disease of a lifetime.

I know firsthand that it’s easy to lose 20 pounds of fat eating all the meat, vegetables, healthy fats, and safe starches that I want. I feel better, look better, am not hungry, and my body is healthier. What is there not to like?

How can YOU experience these results? Easy. Use this simple framework. Don’t worry about counting calories or points or fat. You can be free of all of that FOREVER!

1. Eat meat at every meal. Not packaged, processed lunch meats, but eggs, steak, chicken, turkey, wild game, birds, lean pork. There’s always sales at the local stores that have meat for cheap.

2. Remove all added sugar. That means all soft drinks, fruit juices, candies, cakes, cookies, cereals, etc. Sounds harsh, but I just spent two weeks in Europe. Do you know how many fat Europeans I saw? Not many. I could count them on my hands. Suck it up and take care of yourself. You are worth it! And there’s much more to life than dessert.

3. Eat healthy fats, like organic coconut oil, coconut milk, butter, and lard. A little olive oil, palm kernel oil, and Macadamian nut oil are okay, but shouldn’t be used in high heat cooking because the heat DESTROYS the unstable monounsaturated fats (i.e. the “heart healthy” ones) and turns them into free radicals. You don’t have to be a scientist to know that high doses of free radicals are dangerous.

4. Eat all the veggies you want, especially leafy greens. Beans and corn ARE NOT veggies, though snap peas and green beans are usually okay. I like to saute veggies in lard or cook them slowly in butter (Brewer’s has some excellent Amish butter!).

5. Safe starches are great. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, leeks, turnips, beets, onions, etc. are okay. They do not effect the body in the same way that packaged cookies do. These are also great when starting out.

6. For weight loss, limit the fruit until your metabolism resets. The best time to eat a piece of fruit is after a workout. And the best choices are blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries (any berry).

7. For weight loss, limit the nuts and seeds. Nuts and seeds taste great but do have some irritating molecules in them that inhibit weight loss. 2 oz. or less per day is best.

Overwhelmed? Don’t be! You can do this! I understand it is different than your normal eating and that is why I am here to help! I want to see you succeed and be free of the worry of dieting so you can get on with your life!

I know how much time, effort and energy can be spent in “dieting” and wishing away those pounds. It consumes your life. Let me tell you, there is so much more out there to be loved, experienced and enjoyed than “dieting” and weight loss. And I know that you won’t be able to think about those things until this hurdle is out of the way.

Now is the time to transform your life and experience those results you’ve always dreamed of but secretly never believed YOU could have. You can! You will!
