What are you trying to accomplish THIS year?

Thank you so much for all your kind responses to my recent survey! I have lots of new things in the works to make this site better and give you the resources and tools you need to experience success! You “getting it” is of the utmost importance to me!

I know that nutrition, fitness and health can be daunting because there is a sea of information out there. And then there is a question of who should you listen to? Every time you turn around, someone seems to be making an opposite claim to the previous one! “Fat is bad. No it’s not. Whole grains are essential to weight loss. Whole grains destroy your body. Red meat is terrible. Red meat is good for you.”

IS there ANY truth??? Are there any basic rules that apply to food and exercise?

Because nutrition and exercise are a passion of mine, there is no need for you to continue trying to navigate all that information on your own. I am your LIGHT at the end of the tunnel! And I HAVE found a system that not only WORKS, but also HEALS your body.

But I don’t want you to just take my word for it! I want to teach you how to choose your food on a very basic, fundamental level so that you will no longer NEED me or anyone else to tell you what and how to eat. Then, I want YOU to teach others, to be a blessing to people in your life that could greatly benefit from a life free of health issues, medical bills and dieting.

My question for you TODAY…

What are you trying to accomplish right now?

Don’t just read this question but answer it. Either comment below or respond to my email. I really want to know what you want to accomplish right now so I can serve you better. If you really want to know about why fat doesn’t make you fat and I ramble off about hydrogenated oils, I haven’t helped you at all. Does that make sense?

So take a moment and think about what you are trying to accomplish right now, this year. What would make your life easier if you knew or achieved it?

I’ll tell you mine… I want to know how to write a book and grow my email list. Those two things are more important to me than learning how to sing and learning Greek, which are two other things I really want to accomplish someday.

What is it for you? What are you trying to accomplish right now in 2012? Can’t wait to hear your answers! And I want to hear them all!

  • I want to do a stinking pull-up!!!! I am SO close and have spent so long on this but it still hasn’t come…. Also, I want to be in a place where diet and excercise are just second nature and not an active, daily concern. Almost there!

    • You’ll get there! I’ll write a little routine for you that will help. 🙂 And way to go on the lifestyle change. I am so proud of y’all!

  • I want to be successful with my gardening and learning how to can all these good vegetables. I think I’m getting the hang of it. Last week I made Strawberry Preserves with NO added sugar!

I’d also like to lose weight and feel better about myself, by following the Paleo-lifestyle more faithfully. I’ve already lost 15 lbs and I think to myself… “How much more would I have lost if I had not cheated all those times?”

    • Hi Angie! Yay on the strawberry preserves with no added sugar! That is awesome. So glad you are doing this with your food. I’m glad you’re trying Paleo and don’t be too hard on yourself for cheating. It happens. I’m just glad you keep coming back to Paleo – that’s where real and lasting results happen! 🙂

  • I have been trying so hard to lose thus last 10-15 pounds and no matter what I do it is like Im stuck in a rut!

    • I understand what you mean! I was there for awhile myself and had to modify my long-time Paleo diet to start losing again. Have you tried Paleo?
