Two Very Important Lessons

I help people get healthy with a Paleo diet and strength training so that they have more time, live longer, and overcome diet and weight loss struggles forever!

In my own battle with fatness and finding the solution,  I learned two very important lessons:

1. The way is narrow but deceptively simple.

2. We stand in our own way between our current condition and the results we desire most.

I know I was surprised when I learned how simple it was to lose fat (now over 30 lbs. of fat!) AND improve my health with a Paleo diet. It was so easy that it was hard to believe that food could do all that! I not only normalized my weight, but haven’t seen a doctor in the past two years.

No supplements. No counting calories or points. No certain times to eat. No measuring. Just eat all I want of high-quality foods – meats/fish, veggies, healthy fats, some fruit, safe starches, and minimal nuts/seeds.

Isn’t it interesting how we “over-complicate” everything? From the Bible to food to exercise, we step in and create complex systems that defer responsibility and allow us to rely on excuses instead of results.

Even Jesus’ message was so simple in that they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven. I am not talking about salvation with food recommendations, but the core message is the same.

When all the signs line up with your current diet and lifestyle results – how you feel, hunger, fatigue, hypoglycemia, need for supplements, medications, counting, etc.- do you see the truth that health is within your grasp and easier than you may think? OR do you want to continue to over-complicate how to get healthy and struggle for the rest of your life, wasting your precious years away?
