  • Hey Gerilyn! I am a visual learner and this is fabulous. The printed page doesn’t stick so well in my mind but these graphics I can really relate to. IT would make a great poster.

I am curious about the “healthy kidneys.” How do you know if they are not healthy and if you eat all the protein and the purine is not handled properly….then what?

    • Hi Joyce! Glad you liked the infographic! I agree that it would make an awesome poster.

If you’ve experienced lots of reoccurring kidney stones, you could say your kidneys may not be so healthy… then is when too much protein could cause gout. Usually, however, gout is caused by too many carbohydrates more than too much protein.

      Hope that helps! 🙂

  • Gerilyn,
Love your website! You have so much to share with the world, I’m glad you’re getting it online. I’m a visual learner too, but the pic isn’t loading for me. Could you please email it to me?
Thanks and good luck changing the world!
