I like to blend it with a little almond butter, blueberries, and cinnamon. Love, love, love it!

I am surprised to see you recommending a recipe based on bananas. Bananas are one of the starchiest foods on the planet, very high in carb and sugar. Not normally recommended on these types of diets.

This is very true, Zarwen, but you can’t be super-strict all of the time. You must also consider the overall impact of a food and other factors, like weather. It’s getting hot here in Tennessee and people want ice cream! Would you rather have a large dose of glucose or a large dose of high fructose corn syrup + dairy? I’ll take the glucose any day! It is also becoming more accepted that noxious grains and fructose are much more problematic than a little sugar now and then! See Kurt Harris’s blog for a more in-depth summary!
