Patch the leak!

Bloated?

Ever experienced any of the following symptoms: abdominal pain, insomnia, bloating, excessive flatulence, shortness of breath, anxiety, fevers of unknown origin, hemorrhoids, heartburn, migraines, muscle cramps/pain, multiple chemical sensitivity, myofascial pain, inability to tolerate exercise, poor immunity (you’re sick all the time), poor memory, recurrent bladder infections, recurrent vaginal infections, recurrent skin rashes, brittle nails, hair loss, swollen lymph glands, food allergies, constipation, diarrhea, chronic fatigue, abdominal spasms, sluggishness, or depression?

Some of you may experience one or more of these symptoms so often that you call them normal and even expect them.

Have any of these symptoms ever kept you from doing something you enjoy – playing with your kids, shopping with friends, attending a social gathering – or kept you from work for days at a time?

If so, then you live with an unnecessarily diminished quality of life.

All of these symptoms are associated with leaky gut syndrome, an all too common condition that often goes undiagnosed.

Leaky gut syndrome is just like it sounds. Imagine a set of pipes (your intestines). “Healthy” pipes do not leak and if they do leak (or bust), you want to repair it as soon as possible.

Who's up for fecal matter in their blood?

But what about the leaky pipe that you do not learn of until receiving that $700 water bill in the mail? Do you dig up earth until you find the leak or do you continue paying $700 plus in water bills each month?

A smart person would dig and repair the leak. All too often, however, we go day to day paying the water bill (a.k.a. medical bills) with no intention of repairing the leak.

The soon-to-be-feces of our intestines have no business floating around in the blood stream. Do yourself, your family and your friends a favor and fix your leaks before they deeply affect your life.

What causes leaky gut syndrome? You guessed it. The major gut-wrecker is gluten and close behind are every other grain, legume and peanut.

This is because lectins are in every grain, legume and peanut as a natural defense mechanism. Because of lectins, white rice is a better option than brown rice.

NSAIDS and alcohol are also known to increase gut permeability.

From bad to worse...

Leaky gut syndrome is the beginning of all of the wonderful digestive disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohns, Celiac, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis.

It also leads to every autoimmune condition: rheumatoid arthritis, type I diabetes, multiple sclerosis, rickets, poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), etc.

Leaky gut also leads to infertility, early dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, metabolic syndrome, cancer, etc.

YES, food is that powerful. YES, what you eat today affects your quality of life now and whether you wait to die or continue to live while aging.

The solution? Try taking gluten out of your diet for 30 days. This is a small length of time compared to the rest of your life! The worst that can happen is you miss some of your “favorite” foods for a small 30 days.

The best that can happen is the start of a complete reversal of all your medical issues! Plus, you’ll look better naked! Who can argue with that?

What do you think?
