Paleo Breakfast Ideas!

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day! Not because it has some sort of magical quality, but because it sets your behavior up for the rest of the day. People who eat breakfast tend to have more success losing weight and sticking to their plan than folks who don’t. People who don’t eat breakfast have a harder time saying “no” to the no-no foods their co-workers bring and often over-eat at night to compensate for no breakfast!
There are a million ways to cook a delicious Paleo breakfast without putting you out for time. Here are some ideas:
1. Hardboiled Eggs. This is by far the easiest on-the-go breakfast or snack. Pop them on while you take your shower and they are ready before you know it. Depending on your preferences, let them boil for 6-10 minutes before turning the eye off. You may either allow them to sit in the still-hot water for a few minutes to finish up OR immediately douse them in an ice cold water bath for a minute or two. This allows the shell to separate from the egg and makes for better, easier peeling.
2. Bacon & Eggs. Can’t go wrong here! Easy to whip up and easier to eat! Yum!
3. Breakfast Quiches. There are a million and one ways to make breakfast quiches! The best part? You can make them in muffin tins and have them anytime! Check out this recipe complete with a video!

4. Beef & Egg Scrambles. Beef & eggs for breakfast? Oh yes! Quick, easy, delicious! There are a million different ways to do this as well, but check out this recipe from robbwolf.com! I personally LOVE this particular recipe. A little spice, a little nice!

5. Beef & Blueberries. Sometimes you just need a touch of sweet! This recipe has made it ‘pop’ for me! All my favorite things come together in one skillet to make for a delicious, mouth-watering, slightly sweet breakfast!

Recipe:
  1. Heat 1 Tbsp. of organic coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat
  2. Brown ground beef for 3ish minutes or until almost the “doneness” you prefer. Add as much cinnamon as desired. I shake it 3 or 4 times.
  3. Turn the skillet off and throw in a cup or two of blueberries. Stir around for 30 sec to 1 min.
  4. Pour everything in a bowl and enjoy!
